The widest slick we can fit on our trucks?
I have tried searching but haven't come up with any hard facts yet.
I want to know what the widest slick we can fit on our trucks is. My truck wont be any lower than a 2"x4" drop ever so if the slick sticks out a bit I'll be fine.
I can't choose my diameter yet till I find out what gears and diff. I have but I would like to know what width we can run. I would think that a 11.5" would work but would a 12.5 be too wide? How about a 10" wheel?
Sorry for the simple questions but I couldn't find Parish's post concerning this issue.

That is approx total width available, so contact patch would be a smaller measurement

No clearance issues but they do stick out some. They will gunk up the truck on the burnout a little bit but not too bad. Looks mean with the Cal-Tracs too.

how about some 36x17.5x16's
haha, i know they dont fit, but hey the hook really good!
ill get a pic of them next to my truck so you can really see how damn big they are. they came off the 05 matco tools funny car after practice 2 weeks ago. i figured to keep a set instead of throwing them out.

After seeing what my truck has and the fact that I don't want too much gearing with a turbo i think I need to stick with a minimum height of 28"s. My 20's are about 29-30" tall so a 28-29" slick wouldn't be too bad. I just wasn't sure of the width.
