Default will this work??? on backspacing

Well it a good thing that my order was cancelled due to the fact that the comp, doesnt offer the free shipping anymore, so instead of continuing the order they cancelled it. Well its a good thing because I forgot about the back spacing on my rims, Will a 275/45/20 on a 20 by 8.5 rim with a 5 in backspacing work on the nbs with a 3/5/ ?? Thanks alot for the help .

I am running a 20x8 with 5" backspacing and that is close on my 4/6. With a 3/5 you may be able to get away with it, but I don't think so.

I used to roll a 20" with that back spacing on my 3/5 dropped 99', that will work all day long. I sell the damn things and i wouldnt hesitate to order that set up for a customer. that tire is the same height as yer stocks. if anything you will have to trim on the LF a bit but i just glued mine to the water bottle. I got pics and details if u want to see.

According to the chart below, a 20x9 with a +25 offset puts it at 6" backspacing, which would be like a 20x8.5 with 5.5" backspacing. That will put his wheels .5" further out than yours and mine.

very true blue , (slick f'n truck by the way) this 5" backspace is a spec. right? even if it falls around a 6mm offset it will probably still roll but it does make it a bit more of a question mark. I'll double check the fitment guide tomorrow for offset range and tire fitment. I goofed my old whlz were a +18.... bfd.

meanwhile, test it. crank your wheel to the point where it comes closest to rubbing and measure how far down the truck would have to come to create a rubbing problem. pretty easy to eye ball.

Can you get to the truck? If so, you may just be able to measure 3.5" from the hub and see if it sticks out past the fender.
