Default WillyBar rear weight system?

So in the most recent Truckin magazine this 09 Dodge Ram has a WillyBar in the bed. Apparently it is a stack of weights that adds ballast to the rear in order to help absorb more shock making the ride smoother (below is a pic and the website). The thing is, its freaking expensive, both to buy and to ship. I was wondering if anyone else had done something like this, other than 6+ bags of Quikrete. Just think it would be a cool addition to a truck that doesn’t haul anything.

Why not bolt a couple pieces of 2" pipe in your bed so you can stack barbell weights??? Same principle, it can be made to look really clean, and cheap as hell...

I would just fill my tailgate with some let shot and let 'er rip though.

Manhole covers are a good idea too.....and they're free.
