No one makes one, and I tried to talk to BMR about making one but they said that they were busy doing the 2010 Camaro stuff, and that there was no interest in the truck market for one.

I say different! I remember reading that there are 2 5.3s engine for every other LS1. Point is 2:1 margin. Therefore, most were in trucks. This site supports a lot of those (performance ) trucks. Not to mention, those... other truck sites.

Just curious, what 700,000+ trucks? How many of the Gen5 Camaros are being built in a yr.?

Give me a tubular X-member that bolts in & saves me weight, at a fair cost, I'd get 1.
Maybe even clear the front of the oil pan& timing cover or a bolt-in center section would make a cam swap & work in that area a breeze.

He means tubular crossmember or X-member more likely, not a K-member. That usu. was the term applied on Mopars when swappin in a Hemi you needed the Hemi k-member.

kinda missing the point. he has a 92 truck. only has crossmember for tranny. rest of frame is all one piece. the older square body style and older had a k member for front suspension. my uncle swapped out one on his 65 for a 78 model i think. was an upgrade to power brakes and 5 lugs. our newer trucks have a crossmember under oil pan to stiffen up frame. something different would be nice to clear camaro/corvette style oil pans. just a thought
