Default Would a 4l60E from a 98 Safari be a direct fit to my 02 Sierra?

As the title describes, these are two different Generation vehicles. The tranny on my 02 Sierra went bad and want to have it replaced. This guy is selling parts off of a 98 Safari that only had 102 000km on it, approx 60000 miles, for 200$. After researching I haven't been able to find weather my truck will fit a tranny from a previous gen Safari. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If you're wondering why i wouldn't upgrade to a 4l80e, it's because of cost, no room to do the work and i'll probably be selling this truck to get something newer/nicer. This truck has gone through too many salty roads unprotected by the previous owner to be a keeper. I can see problems with the panels and undercarriage rusting out after the next few years.
