Default wtf did i break this time!

sup yalls i have an 01 tahoe 5.3 4x4. well last night on my way home i was getting off the highway and when i got to the stop sign i gave it gas and my truck stalled for a few seconds then slammed into gear. i made it about 30 yards and it started grinding fairly loud. the trans kept shifting no problem but when i got in the driveway i put it in park and i have no park. when i put it in reverse it sounds like when your going down the road and just throw it in park (that clicking sound) and it will not back up. if i put it in park now it grinds. i put it in 4hi and it does the same and still wont hold itself in park (just rolls) any ideas? thanks in advance.
