You will notice it takes a small bit more throttle to get up to speed but thats about the worst of it.
You will notice your shifts will be tighter (shift ext) and keep you in the power band.

You will really like it after you spend a week with it!

I have a 2600 Yank in my truck.I love it.
With normal pedal it will hold around 1800rpms until you reach your desired speed. Then she shall lock as normal.
With moderate pedal it will flash up to(basically free rev) to about 2300-2400 then you get goin...just at a much better/faster rate than a stock vertor could allow.
On full throttle it will flash to 2600 just like she says and kick the truck in the rear so to speak and luanch off the line.
As for how tight or loose it is...honestly after about a week you don't even notice that you roll around 300-400 higher in rpms than a normal stock vertor does.
My stock vertor under normal pedal would roll around 1400-1500 Yank 1800 moderate pedal stock 1800-yank bout 2400.Full pedal stock still 1800 yank 2600.
Trust me its a great vertor.

no real break in, some suggest 3 or 4 lock up cycles.
Tighter shift = the drop in RPM between shifts is less. The rpms from peak of one gear to the start of next gear are closer - improving time/distance.

WRONG!!!!

Per Yank's web site installation guide:

Break in Period...
Yank converters have a special clutch lining material that requires a special break in procedure.
This procedure consists of:
Driving the converter at normal speeds with NO WOT starts or brake stalling the converter for aproximately 150 miles.
Stall checking or Brake stalling will severely damage the clutch lining if the converter is not broke in properly. This will void any warranty.

I would advise going through the break in
