Default Yank converter bolt pattern?

I have a yank converter to use in my 80 swap but I just laid the flexplate on the converter and only three of the six holes line up.

Am supposed to run just three bolts? Or do I have an issue with the flexplate. The converter has 6 bolts holes but I am only getting half to line up
What's going on??

Keep turning the spacer and checking holes, it should line up one way. As for the flexplate, 3 bolts will be plenty. A drop of loctite, snug them first, then on the second round, go ahead and tighten them. Main thing is getting them pulled up evenly to lessen the chance of a broken flexplate.

Ok great I'll just do the three bolts. Which order will I need to
Run as far as flexplate-spacer-converter?
I tried the spacer every way possible but it's still a
Pubic off every direction. Odd

You must have the wrong flexplate. Do you have a crank you can compare the bolt holes against?

I don't have a 6.0 to compare it to.
the flexplate came out of a 2004 express van. 6.0/4l80 I took it out myself.
Could van ones be different I've never heard of that before tho.

You probable have the spacer on the wrong direction. If it's a flat flex plate, spacer goes on the crank and then flex plate goes over the spacer. If its a dished flex plate, the flex plate goes on first and the spacer goes on last with the lip out.

I have it in the right position according to what you said. It's just the holes don't seem to line up at all. I've tried every combination they are just a touch off. It's a flat flex plate. I did the spacer lip facing out. Than the flexplate than the converter. Nothing.
