I got my tt3000 used and had been "freshened" up by a stall company other than yank although reportedly signed of on by yank. Other than being painted black instead of red... it works great.

i'm on my second stall from yank. first one was a tt2600 worked flawlessly for me and now i have a pt3200. So far it's a wonderful stall.
When i get my 4000 for my reg cab it will also be a Yank.

ive had a TT3000 in for quite awhile now...
I can brake stall it to 2500.... only cause my brakes wont hold it back..
it will flash to 3800-4200.. depends on if im towing a trailer
I tow our 4wheeler trailer and stuff with my truck and the converter is tough!
and its pretty tight when just Daily driving... usually i can keep the rpms below 1600-1800....
I wouldnt hesitate to deal with Yank again.. and i suggest them to everybody..

I bought the PTC3K off of someone, and was clueless then. I'm much more knowledgeable of what I should get, and what's junk. I've heard bad things about a few TC companies. Mine does exactly what you're describing, but only under light throttle and under 50mph. As strange as it sounds, it works descently above that speed... so I adjusted my tune until I can get the Yank in. Besides, I don't do much low speed driving anyway b/c of my daily commute. Just got new mufflers delivered yesterday. Yank's the next thing to be ordered.
