Default YANK new product release 4L80-E multi-clutch converters

YANK is now offering for the 4L80-E transmission our new dual-plate super clutch converter:
Yank's new 258MM converters have the most clutch surface of any converter in it's class.
Special clutch plate material, steel and friction where designed to stop heat warpage. (Warpage causes the clutches to drag lowering the stall and building heat in the converter)
These converters are designed for the Hobbist that wants to tow, push his horse power to the limit, and or lock up the converter under WOT.

Look here.
Yank Performance

Thanks
YANK

Last time I spoke with Dave, he was against multi-disc converters. That was only a few months ago. I would have been at the top of the list for a Yank multi-disc. Why the sudden change?

Yank has built multi plate converters in years past.
Yank has been offering converters that 60 foot and work fantastic at the track and highway, that has been our main product line.
We have had many customers that have asked for this converter over the years for towing heavy loads, so to answer the demand we have released with many upgrades our converter.
The single disc will meet 95% of the market and yield faster times at the track.
No sudden change just offering a new product to all.
