I agree I think a 3000 would work well with that cam. If you had a 5.3 or an extended cab then I would definetely go higher, but with the 6.0 it should be a good match. Of course a 3200 or higher would perform better on the track, at the expense of a little more heat, cost and less drivability. Then again some on here like it loose, and you might prefer the 3200.

its for a DD and since the truck is a stepside and light and will see the track maybe twice a year mostly street action i dont want to loose to much drivability but a want a truck that pulls good all throughout the powerband with the 228

just talked to dave over at yank and he recommened the PT3200, thanks dave for being so helpful

pulls hard- espeacilly between shifts- no rpm drops...- im still working on the tune/lockup-
- it does waste alot of gas then my circle-D 3200- but im guessing its the foot...

i have the PT3600, I'd recommend it over the 3200.

3600 seems a lil big for a DD, plus i do a lot of city driving dont want to feed this thirsty pig anymore
