Default Yank TT 2600

I bought a Yank TT 2600 a LONG time ago and just recently (2 days ago) had a chance to get it installed. Stock I could launch the truck as hard as I could and only spin the tires for a short distance, now it just blows the tires away. I'm gonna try to go to the track this weekend and see what it will do. So far I'm very happy with this converter.

I am also looking at a Yank, either a tt2600 or a tt3000. I am interested in any negatives with a higher stall. Keep track of your mileage and let us know if it changes.

I drove almost 100 mile this morning for work. I generally average 16.5 (City) and this morning it went down to 16.2.

You prob won't be able to tow as much with a higher stall and gas mileage maybe affected more. I noticed in your sig you have a Comp Cam, I'd would choose the stall speed that would work best with the cam shaft. If I didn't tow from time to time and drive so much for work, I would have went with the TT3000.

Strength-wise, a Truck Thruster series is what Dave recommends for towing. I bought an SST series converter. I originally wanted to tow with my truck, but since wife recently acquired an Armada, there's no need to tow with the SST converter. Dave does not recommend towing with anything outside of the TT series converters.

As for stall speed, check their website. They have a chart regarding stall speed recommendations based on engine mods (& power, I think).

I'm not positive but I think Dave owns Yank Converters. **Google Yank Performance**

Correctomundo! I don't know if they're a sponsor here (mind posting non-sponsor links). If so, I stand corrected. If not, see comment about non-sponsor links.
