Default Yank TT3000

i'm thinking about buying this converter real soon. i don't hear too much about it these days but i know alot of guys on here run this converter.

what i'm asking is how do yall like it?
ie streetability, performance, towing, etc.

the reason i'm wanting to get one is b/c my 2nd tci was about to take a dump and i cought it at the right time. the stock tc is in the truck now so i can make my trip to louisiana and bring my chevelle back here.

any input is appreciated.
thanks

Definately a good choice. I used to run the tt3000 in my truck, until I stepped up to the ss3600. Anyway, it had excellent street manners, and no problems. sold it to slowec, so ask him how it drove to him.

Lance, I ran a TT3000 in my truck too. It was very close to stock as far as DD streetability, I was rather impressed. I liked it alot and the only reason I don't run it anymore is because of the heads and cam combo I'm running now require the SS4000.

Ben rode in the truck a few times with the TT3000 also, he too thought it felt alot like stock during normal driving. A great feature of that converter. A very good choice IMO... unless you plan on running a larger cam, then I'd step up in stall rating.

I also sold mine to a member on here.

I had a 2800 PI stall im my old Z-71/turbo. It was great, daily driving and running around town i COULD NOT tell it was in there till ya mash it, i wished i would have gotten a 3000 stall, youll be happy with the drivability, im not sure on the yank, but the PI was a great piece.

I run the tt3000 and so far it has been good to me. Streetability is awesome and I got used to it really quick. It is way better than stock but now with my bigger cam I can only flash it to 2800. You should have no problems since your truck is lighter and with more power.

I have the TT2600 which is basically the same convertor little less stall speed. Anyway it feels like a stock convertor until you mash the gas. Street mannors are very good and i can't say anything bad about it to be honest.
