Default Yukon posi and precision ring pinion?

Well, the shop didnt install the eaton posi like I had wanted, it was a yukon posi instead. Tried the search button using key work yukon and cant find crap but the vehicle model yukon. How good or bad is the yukon brand posi, and what is the quality of the precision brand ring and pinion?

eaton makes teh Govlock which is the GM spec G80 locking rear dif. Eaton also makes the Eaton Carbon limited slip differential which only allows slippage in corners and never behaves like an open dif, the G80 always acts as an open dif unless the activating mechanism locks the rear dif. when axle speed difference is detected while under power. The G80 also doesnt lock at speeds above 20 mph.

After blowing an Eaton, I wanted change so I went with a Yukon posi.

After talkign with Randy ring and pinion, the tech told me that the Yukon posi was just as good or better than the Eaton. I have not driven my truck with this unit installed yet, so I cant really compare the 2 yet. However, the casing on the Yukon looks better than the eaton because it is more of an enclosed case, and doesnt have a huge "window" like the eaton did.

Hey man, could you send me a link to this unit you are installing? I would really like to read up on it and havnt found sht on a 30 spline 10 bolt 8.5/.6 for my truck. As stated before, the shop put this unit in with out me knowing about it, but I did leave it open for suggestion that the shop could use similiar to an eaton posi.
-thanks

I've got a Yukon Dura-grip in mine but I don't have enough miles on the new parts to go test 'em out.
