Z71 drop
I'm looking at dropping my Z71 about 2 inches. I figured I'd pull the blocks in the back and lower the front to match. Can i get 2 inches lower just by cranking the bars, or should I get some different keys? I'm not concerned if the ride is softer in front, just that the stock keys will allow that much of a drop.
What is the proper way to adjust the bars?
TIA

Awesome!!! There are as many opinions as people. I looked at DJM and could not find spindles for my truck. But it looks like it would be 200-250 for spindles. Who do you guys use for spindles. I think I could get the U-bolts for about 30.
I was just under the truck a few minutes ago, and the blocks are a full 2 inches.
What are the purple keys?
Thanks guys

the rear is the same as a 2wd truck, except for the addition of the 2"block. the front is quite different though. you can do spindles(2"), lower control arms(3"), keys (1.5"+) in the front. many different options.
so essentially you could go 6.5"+ lower in the front and up yo 10" lower in the rear.
havent heard of purple keys but gm green keys let you go lower, and HD keys will raise you up along with the ford keys. purple keys might be aftermarket
