$750.00 Good for Complete 10 Bolt rearend w/ Limited Slip?
With the Nitrous, I cant seem to keep hooked with my stock open diff. with 3.42 gear.
I found a complete used 10 bolt rear end with an Eaton limited slip in it (with 3.42 gear also) for $750.00 out of a new body style wrecked truck. Wouldn't have to do anything but bolt it up.
I figured I didn't need a locker and limited slip should be fine, as its my everday truck and I only use the nitrous 2-3 runs a week on the street.
Is this a good or okay deal in any of your opinions?
What should I counter offer, if any, without offending him?
THANKS GUYS!!

I think the truck from factory comes with an eaton g80 posi..
but dont you have a 10 bolt already?
and for around $500 on ebay, you can get a new eaton posi, overhaul kit, and a new set of any gear of choice - 3.73/4.10 ... i think the sellers name is gearsareus, or somthing in that area

Yeah, I saw that on eBay, but Pyle Bros (what I heard was the best to put it in wants to charge $300.00 labor to put it all in + oil + misc. shop fees. After that, it ends up costing almost $900.00, when I could get a complete extra rearend for only $750, just bolt it right up, and have a spare on the side just in case.
Pyle Bros is good, but not cheap (I guess you may get what you pay for though when it comes to installing gears)
So how about $750.00 for a complete rearend with limited slip or should I go another route?
