my buddy has a stock 4wd tahoe.. it ran about 7.5 sec or so...

You would probably run about 6.5 to 7.. but w/ the nitrous you wanna do.. theres no telling... should get some 3.72 or 4.10 gears for it... it'll clean that time up a little

[QUOTE=ITLstallion04]Here's the thing.. my truck is hardly 3,000 lbs... maybe less... i have a carbon composite bed and its rcsb...

ahhh I dunno about 3000 or less that is really pushin it.Maybe if you had fiberglass hood fenders and doors.I still think it would be more than 3000.Stock the truck should weigh in around 4300. And stock times for a 4.8 is around 7.5 8.0.

What do you think it would be without the tune (just intake and muffler)?

Idk tahoe... maybe a little better than 7 secs... depends what exhaust and intake.. but it may make it seem a lot quicker with the throttle response.. take it to a track

I'm sorry dude, but I'm gonna have to raise it.

So what kind of carbon composite bed are we talking here? What kind of matrix did you use? What epoxy or resin did you use. Is it a isotropic, isentropic, orthogonal matrix, what? Did you do it yourself and just use pre-pregs? You must have a hell of a big *** furnace and vacuum bag. I doubt your truck weighs 3000lbs, especially with all that stereo equipment.

Oh yeah,

"V8 4.8L 294 CID
Dyno-ed at 394.8 rwHP
and 415 ft/lbs. Torque"

Not from a no heads, no cam, no headers 4.8. I don't want to be a dick, but when you **** with the 4.8, you **** with me!

Go to the track, or get a good gtech, enter in your real wieght, and talk about that 0-60 time. A stopwatch is a useless as **** on a bull!

Sorry mods, I couldn't contain myself.
