Default 02 ecm in 99 and no battery light?

Well I swaped ecms tonight and I thought that when you swap from a 99/00 to a 01/02 that you would have to run a wire to get the battery light out. I havent had mine come on yet. Whats up with that? Its not really bothering me because thats good imo. But just wondering if there might be something wrong?

Hmmm, you sure its from a 02'? Got a part number on it?

This will be the first time I've heard someone not getting the battery light.

no false knock issue, and much better fuel tables.
could be that the alt light was turned off in the tune so you would not need to run the second wire.

That's weird because I had to add the wire to turn of the blinking light. You will also have to tune the pcm for the smaller 19# injectors or upgade to the larger 24# injectors. I have a set of stock 24# injectors if you need them.

Well now that I think about it. We did use the tech2 to do this. So I may have put my 99 program into the 02. I did get the part # to it and it was an 01/02. Would this be ok or do I need to run the 02 program?

if one were to "run a wire" to get rid of the battery light...where do you run it and to what do you run it?
