02 GMC build--Forced induction LS motor or 632 BBC?
I am getting ready to build my 02 GMC ECSB Z71 and I am trying to decide which type of motor to build. I have considered buiding a 408 with a F1 or possibly a 632 BBC N/A with a Hogan sheetmetal intake and EFI with a little spray. I likely wont go the turbo route because I have been racing turbo cars since the late 80's(Grand Nationals) and I want to do something different. I have talked to a few builders for the 632 idea and the common consnesus is that I can get 800-850 flywheel HP(plus some spray) with a pump gas 632 so the power of each combo is comparable. The 632 would be more fab work for sure but I like the fact that it would be different and I LOVE the look of the Hogans BBC EFI intakes.
