On most every 02 whether it has 1 wire or 4 signal wires are universally purple. When I got mine from autometer it came with simple wiring diagram.

What did your auto meter instructions say? According to my info, the purple is hi 02 and the tan is low 02.

2 of the wires go to the internal heater, and the other 2 go to air fuel. The computer sends a reference signal to the 02 (low). The amount of unburned fuel in the exhaust alters that signal giving the output signal (high). Purple is the signal output.
