i thought caprices were only made until 95? i know the impalas were made until 96 i always wanted to convert a 9C1 caprice to an imp and i always thought the last year for them was 95

the only difference between a 9c1 and a Impala ss is leather seats,wheels,ride height and silicone hoses on the 9c1's. although many of the 9c1's cam w/o posi but some did. I converted mine to the SS stuff grille, spoiler wheels but then some A-hole in a rented U-haul van parked in my rear package tray on the expessway.
the 9c1/ss's had 3.08 rear gears and a optional 3.42 pursuit gear for the 9c1's
