02 simms

Default 02 simms

will 02 simmulators from an f-body work on a truck? found some for sale cheap, brand new the guy wants 60 for the set. i just don't know if they will work on the truck or not. thanks guys.

i think they'll work but oxi said something about having to splice them or something.

splice? you mean wire them in where the f-body ones have a clip thing? when you put on 02 simms do you cut the wires off the back of the 02 sensor in the pipe and connect it to the simm? if so then couldn't you just take out the sensor on the back side and use all new pipe...only have one set of sensors and two simms?

I ordered some o2 sims but when I got them they were for an f-body. I found out real fast what the differance is. The truck version is has a female connecter on the sensor but the car version has a male connector. I dont know why it is that way but it is.

so, like i said all i would have to do is cut the wires off the back of the current sensor and cut the adapter off and wire everything up.
