Default 02 sims

i was wondering when the 02 sims are put on the new style chevys 99 and up and the converters are taking off or gutted does anyone ever have any problems?

I dunno.....maybe the Chevy guys will know. LOL....just messing with ya man. I know alot of Dakota guys are using the 02 sims after they remove the cats. I think it fixes a problem (check engine light) more then it causes one.

yeah they work. they keep you from getting a SES light when cats are removed. makes it easier to go with true duals.

There is an O2 sim for the Dodge system. Hemifever installed one in his 5.7L '03 Ram and has had good success, especially with his piggyback SMT6 unit and turbo.
I think it costs about $30 and helps keep the computer from shutting down when the STFT and/or LTFT get out of whack.

no problems. remove the cats, install the O2 sims...no SES light, more noise, more power mine have been on there for about 2 years. CHIP
