MY JBa cat back gave me about two more mpg, but I can't keep my foot out of it.

Thanks guys!
I already have a custom tune for 87 octane, with the 6.0L and AWD It gets 13 in the city..
whats the likely hood of adding e-fans, getting 2mpg, adding headers ,2mph..and cat back =?mpg

is it a linear thing, will I get 6mpg more with calm driving and the above mods?

Thanks Again!

well, if you can find some used parts that are in good shape then you can come out ahead. i dont think youll ever see great mileage out of that big of a truck with that engine

I have to say congratulations to all of you that have seen mileage increases with your mods.

I keep religious tabs on my mileage and I have never seen any increase (or decrease) with any mod I have done (truck only). The only items that I have seen affect my gas mileage are:
1) using the a/c (about a 2mpg drop)
2) driving behavior (i.e. heavy foot, light foot)

Agreed, my truck seems to get best mileage stock. Tuning may help. I used a Volant intake and saw no increase in mileage. That ugly stock intake tube isn't the problem it looks to be.
