04 Tahoe after cam...
Hey guys, I just recently (two days ago) installed a new cam in my Tahoe with the 5.3
it was a 212/218 low lift and have not been able to retune it.. Anyways, a Honda accord got aggressive with me so I floored it and he did too. I got beat. I feel like I should have whooped on him but didnt even with the new cam. Is this my cue that I need a serious retune? Or do those Hondas just run hard as hell?
Btw, it has a CAI, that cam, and a cutout right before my blowmaster and a black bear 87 tune that I got BEFORE the cam swap.

Its easily driveable right now. No issues idling or otherwise. I noticed a HUGE difference in mid range. Just feels like it needs retuned for the power throughout the RPM range.
and I have the COMP 212/218 .522 .529 "low lift" version. Blue LS6 springs and hardened pushrods.
did it all myself in a day and a half.
anyone else have thoughts or opinions?

Needs a retune to set shift points higher and all that good stuff.
You shouldn't go WOT till you get it tuned. And might as well get the 91 tune for full power.

I'm definitely getting it retuned here soon. Just need to find a time to get it done but until then I'll keep my RPMs under 4k. And yeah, those little Hondas apparently run like a raped ape lol.
