I have a 2009 GMC Sierra and was hoping someone could give me a suggestion on a good set of long tube headers to use. I have looked at the OBX headers with resonators and also with hiflow cats. I would like to use a set that would use my O2 sensors and will not void my warranty if possible. Any help appreciated.

if your worried about your warranty just leave it stock haha. i ran into that problem as well as the "leased vehicle" problem. i still did what i did to my truck during both of those times. but then again i had the 3 year/36000 mile warranty these new rigs have 5/100k i think.

Really all depends on your dealer and how strict they are. I mean 9/10 the dealer is going to say something but like my dealer here in Corpus, they have done a few warranty jobs already ( Broke my driveshaft and rear end) but have not said anything about my headers. They know they are there and that I installed them but they dont have a problem with them. Now of coarse they couldnt warranty anything on my exhaust because I modified it but they wouldnt void my whole warranty because of them. Now have you talked to a dealer and told them that you want to add them? I know of a few dealerships like the one I take my truck to that will warranty aftermarket parts as long as the dealer installs them. You might want to go that route but ill tell you right now there gunna charge you a lot.

Thanks for the input. I figured some folks might laugh at warranty. I know shorty's would be a whole lot easier to install and would bolt to the factory ypipe so it wouldn't cause any warning lights but I don't know if the cost is worth the gains with shorty's.
