Default is 1 3/4 good enough? help plz -.-

hi there guys.. i ordered the 1 3/4 + cats from arh for my 09 6.2 denali last month.. and i have recieved it a few days ago.. 1st i was just planning on installing headers and thats all.. but at the moment im planning to get a head , aggressive cam , intake manifold + throttle.. so will the 1 3/4 be ok? or i will have to get the 1 7/8 + cats i called the arh dealer in dubai he said hll check wether or not i can exchange the 1 3/4 to the 1 7/8

1 3/4'' if you don't plan on drastcally shifting your powerband (mild CAM)... 1 7/8'' if you want an agressive high rpm CAM...On the fence? Go smaller it takes low end Tq to get a heavy truck moving...


I have 1 3/4'' AR LT's on the way as well...

Id say that with the 1 3/4" primaries, as long as you have 3" collectors you will be ok. Unless you plan on moving a TON of air (blower/turbo or even a big N2O shot) then maybe look into the 1 7/8".
