I beleive Id be around 2600 rpm with the 3.90s at 85 mph my factory stock tires are 29" tall. Youre not gonna change my mind. Thanks

Go with the strange/us gear. The 3.90 is not a factory produced gear, its an "aftermarket" gear. So go with quality, the richmonds will be noisy, unless whoever sets them up takes the time to de-bur them, and is really **** about the whole install. I've never heard of a noisy set of strange gears that were set up properly. Richmonds are noisy almost no matter what you do.

I have 342s and I dont think I would ever go 410s unless I was planning on keeping the stock stall converter or putting in a 4L80. Chingon has 410s and a 3200 stall, on stock or street tries you can say BYE BYE to traction. It is just geared wayyyyy too low to get any traction. With DR's or slicks, sure it takes off out of the hole like a bat outa hell, but to me thats just not practical. I like driving on the street and my races mostly happen on street tires on the street.
I got a posi and was going to do 390 gears knowing 410 was higher than I wanted to go but my plans changed. Now im gettin a 3500 stall to make up for my low end not being there, and see how the 342 gears like a big stall. If I still dont have the low end I want, I MIGHT go to 373s, never 410s

The only thing Im saying is that there is not a whole lot of difference between the 3.90 and 4.10 so by anyone saying 4.10 is way to much gear Im going with 3.90 in all reality isnt positive they want to even do the 3.90. If 4.10 is "too much gear" then 3.90 is too and you should just do 3:73.

Also 3.73, 4.10, 4.56 are al supported by GM ECM programing directly where a 3.90 is not. And finailly, yes there is not much difference between them performance wise but if you install a 3.90 and run a 14.93, you will alway wonder if it would have been a 14.8 something or less with a 4.10. Personally, I would install a 4.56 as I love the launchs and pulling power it give you and throw in OD and you have the best of both worlds. When I need great gas milage, I do not drive my 5000lb plus truck anyway so I am not going to try for a extra .5 mpg in exchange for marginal performance.

Yea but what are you gonna do when you pull super hard to 60 mph then fall flat on your face because your out of gear?
With Chingys setup he will rape me till about 70, then ill come back and pass him. So what do you finish your 1/4 at? I know its more than 70 mph
Its not like if you add 410s you get more pull and more top end, something has to give. Take off is great, but I dont like to rip *** off the line then get my *** handed to me at the end
Also if you look at the fastest truck list there arnt many running 410s. Most 373s if I remember correctly.
