Default 1.8 Ratio Rocker Arms

Hey guys,

I can get a set of Harland Sharp 1.8 ratio rockers for really...next to nothing. My question is......if I buy these, would this be a worth while project to install these?

I guess what I'm asking is, will it be worth it to upgrade to the 1.8 rockers? Will I notice any gain?

If I won't notice any gain from it, then I don't want to waste my money on them, even if they are only like $50.00

depends on what your mods are now... if you have bigger cam and want to get extra edge. rocker arm could work. but i dont think it's 50bucks to get them. you also need valve cover spacer and harden pushrod.
i have 1.8 rocker on my suv now spent about $500 dollars all together not to mention labor.(did my own) as far as gaining if you have ported head and cam. you'll see gain at top end. about 10-15hp at top.

Harland 1.8's will clear under the stock valve covers and no you dont need pushrods or springs. Springs are a good idea sure, but rods are not necessary.

Thanx friend......I can get this set for $50.00 like I said earlier because they're used. Would I benefit from them? I got stock heads and cam.

Not a whole lot. I decided not to use the ones I had. But I searched and talked and searched and just didnt find them worthwhile.

For $50.00 you can't lose. Its a cheap 10 horsepower.

They are easy to install and you can use your stock springs.

It also depends on your mods. When I did my first cam 210/218-551/551-116 I did it first with the stock rockers, then did the 1.8 Crane rockers a couple days later and I noticed a large off-idle torque increase with the Radix.
