Default 1 serious question!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an 05 5.3 with a mild cam. I want to put a little bigger cam. headers with a 3000 stall or a little bigger, and a 90mm fast intake on in the future. I would like to put a set of pacesetters lt's on it with NO cats into a X pipe now( true duals). Is that the best setup to run??? If so should I go 3" all the way or should I put some sort of reducer somewhere in the system. I'm not even sure if a set of high flow cats would be better. I do know if I go with no cats I need to upgrade my HP tune cause I do live in an immission county. Please any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Myself i woudn't do the true duels. I'd do a normal pacesetter off road y-pipe and just run a cutout for those times you want the extra flow.

I run long tubes with 3" collectors thru hi-flow cats, an X pipe and then reduced to 2.5" thru a set of 12" oval Borlas to back behind the tires.

Why the high flow cats?? I've talked to you before in the past I know you know your chit. I would like to know why before I go with the extra expense.

He lives in Cali, its hard for him to slip an inspector 20 bux and get a sticker. Not that it happens or anything, but I wouldnt run but a 2 1/2 in pipes. You need torque to get that big biotch moving, and smaller pipe gives you better torque, 3 in is overkill unless you had like a 434, mp122, or some crazy stuff like that.

The pacesetter lt's exit with 3" I agree with you with the 2 1/2 " Where SHOULD I REDUCE IT???...LOL I know I can beat the PCM emmission test with the HP tune. I do not need to pay anyone off ...lol

Why Borlas??? is that a personal preferance? I kinda wanted something different like a set of bullets.
