Default 100shot on the 4.8 info

didn't go so well, i have multiple problems it seem.

first off i need louder exhaust, i really dont want to hear what is going on under that hood, sounds teriable!! i bet my last truck made some awfull noises.

2nd, i think i smoked my usb to serial adapter, it just wont work so i can't log the wideband and atap at the same time, i need to fix that.

3rd, it was cut out twice during the run, i let off after then 2nd time. the first time was right near the 1-2shift but didn't feel like the rev limiter. wideband apears to show way rich about that time and again later, maybe my nitrous soloniod is cutting out.

i need to step the shot down, get the lap top up and working right so i can log the wideband and atap, then work my way up i guess, i thought i could just go right to the 100shot but i guess not. i need to change my plugs too, forgot all about that.

my baseline tonight was a 15.8 , DA was 2100' vs 15.42 wiht a DA of 850' from the other day. i also have the weight of the bottle, a little more gas and i am running 92octane, would the DA slow me down that much or maybe the 92gas is hurting me.

anyways here are my screen shots. i did get an 1/8th mile reading and if i am not mistaken that ET should be good for a mid to low 13 , work out the bugs, get some better DA and who knows, 12's might just happen.

got another one for ya, felt like the tranny sliped or the tires spun, i didn't hear the tires but i bet thats what it was, got a 1.9 60' with my g's pully like this, probably be better if i drop the truck and reduce my weight transfer, thats what i did with the last truck and it helped smooth the launch.

Damn boy, you gettin that thing moving pretty quick already. An 8.5 in the 1/8 translates to a 13.3-13.4 in the 1/4. I have a feeling that this is gonna be one hell of a beast!

I would seriously watch out for that stock tranny unless your tryin to destroy it so you can replace it and sell the fubar'd one to me really cehap!

Sounds like it's on it's way. Mine didn't last 3 pulls after the blower install without slipping.

Well, running high 14's low 15's I only got about 6000 miles out of mine. These things are seriously weak.

About the weight transfer---I put helper springs on the back leafs to help with the tongue weight of my trailer, and that smoothed the launch big time. Probably don't want to add weight though.

My stock trans lasted 70K and is still going on my 99 Z71. Thats with spraying out of the hole in 4wd some, and a few K miles with a whipple.

Without trying to BS to much, Im still running the 225 dry with stock fuel system and 100% stock trans. Im on my 6th bottle and no problems other than traction. I may start noticing probs with the tran with slicks though.
