Default 10's or bust, bust it is

no ten's for me tonight, not even really all that close but i am happy with my times.

first run was turbo only at about 11psi no nitrous, 11.87 @ 115.81 1.98 60', they told me to slow it down after that run, i started leting out a little short of the finish line.

i did a little tuning and leting off eairly for a few runs, i ran one run that was a 11.81@90mph, didn't let off eairly enuff but they didn't say anything about that run.

after turning up the nitrous a little more and the boost i ended up at 13.5psi and a 75shot(for 1 sec) pulled a 11.43@117.3 with a 1.72 60'

not a bad ET but i poped a head gasket on that run, it was real smooth and felt like it had more. my logs look prety good with a max a/f ratio or 12.4-1 or so with most of the run in the 11.8-12-1 range, i saw a little knock but it was mostly at the shifts and always droping. i think the tune was on i just hit the limit of the head gaskets. the water is actualy running out of the cap. i maxed the maf at about 5400rpm.

i will post a vid later. looks like 10's might not be there on this motor, looks like i need that 409.

Wait ... you had the Cometic's ... I have heard some say that the GM gaskets are really good. You should give them a try. It may have even had something to do with that leak you were hunting down a while back, did you ever fix it?

Prolly that he was running to fast for the track. They have regulations that your vehicle must pass once it starts getting so fast.

heres the vid, not the best ever but you can sure hear the turbo >> http://members.***.net/recervid2/1143run.wmv

i had cometics but i couldn't get them to seal up, i ended up with some felpro gaskets in there, the felpros seal up the best but dont hold boost the best, the cometics are hard to seal but are the best for boost.

Your running awefully lean IMO. I'd prefer to be in the 11-11.5 range through out the whole run. Perhaps if you are cautious, tune to 10:1 near redline.

But awesome runs nonetheless!

nice burnout by the ricer lol

Parish 13psi is what everyone seems to find as the limit for boost on these motors before a head lifts. 11.43 is flying man!!!
