10's or bust, bust it is

hahaha...I think that's a good goal to have (maxing out a 76 is making some serious power). They will flow to 950hp crank, 800rwhp. I think we're all shooting for you! Let us know when you have a motor or the 400ci motor in place. Turn up the boost!

parish, your hitting 76% on 57lb injectors!
When you do max that turbo, i have an idea what you can do with it.
Just curious, did you have ice in the resivour? What were your AITs with 13.5psi?

Hey, i just noticed you were only going 117mph. Thats a little over 1mph faster than my trap speed . So why the hell am i 1.5 seconds slower? I dont think im going to gain that much with slicks. Or even with a stall.
Im doin something seriously wrong here.

Over stock, a higher stall torque converter will pick you up 3/10th's to 5/10th's in the 1/4. Again, with slicks versus stock radial tires, they will pick up .3 - .5 in the 1/4 depending on how you launch, drive, air pressure, etc. I hope that relieves any anxiety you have...heh heh.

i have 57lb injectors(66lb at the ls1 fuel presure), and duel walbro 340m fuel pumps, i may have to upgrade though, i am at 76% duty cycle all ready.
and no offence but... I WILL max that turbo

Duty cylce means nothing. You can run at 110% duty cycle just fine without a worry. It's the IPW or injector pulse width that you should be watching. That is the time the injector stays open, or also reffered to as static.

I agree with the IPW comment, 50lb. injectors on my Turbo Buick can go mid-10's. I would have to guess, without calculating, they should go low 10's/high 9's on a V-8. You should be safe with the 57's, unless of course you have pockets full of money and need a 25% margin of error to feel safe.

I beg to differ but an '03 RCSB has a Curb Weight, on average, of 4439 lbs. Depending on the options, a Buick can weigh from 3,400 - 3,800. That's only a 700 to 1,100 lb. difference. One Ton equals 2,000 lbs., sorry.
It's my opinion he has enough injector backed by 12 years of racing with Fuel Injection. Just an opinion...take it for what it's worth. Think about it... if QMP is using 57 lb.'ers to make 775rwhp/865tq. then he has enough to make 500+ (based on weight of his truck versus trap speed).
