Default 110 and under LSA/ICL/ECL

Who is running low LSA/ICL/ECL anything 110 and under.
Post up motor specs and dyno if youve got it.
Any drivability issues?
Also interested in anyone running a DCR higher that 8.8 on pump.

5.3L shortblock
214/212 .600/.571'' 108/108
#862 heads
- 2.00'' intake valves
- mild valve job
- .030'' mill
- .043'' gasket

10.3 SCR, 8:5 DCR
-3* overlap @ .050''
35* IVC @ .050''

Impressions:

Cranked up right after initial cam install. Only problem now is while the motor is hot, coming to a stop, it may try to die. I haven't researched yet to figure out what needs to be adjusted.

Dyno Results:

Soon to come. I want to do it today, but...

The easiest way to solve this is probably to bump the idle rpm in gear, once you get into the idle in gear air flow tables its a ************.

Ive noticed you like more duration on the intake, why?

I'm only idling at 770-rpm. Nothing 'too' low. I'd like to fix it without raising the rpm.

-Flattens out the torque curve with an intake restricted motor. If you need examples, let me know.

Im just wondering if biasing the intake is restricting the higher HP numbers.
Ill take any graphs you got cmcguigan2000@yahoo.com thanks

On the idle I had mine around 750 in gear and had similar problems after chasing my tail with all the idle air tables(there are alot and they all play together) I just bumped the idle to 850 to be done with it. Ive messed with all of em including getting the iac counts around 30 yada yada yada.....blah blah blah after months of tweaking I ended back at square one bumped the air table a little and raised the idle.

It will at a certain point. But there is a median. A middle ground where the most average power is found. That's the idea as I'm sure you are aware of. Usually, past peak torque (4800) there will be a give or take of power when shortening/increasing the exhaust size with a given intake lobe.

I'm sure you remember where I mentioned running a cell count with HP Tuners during a 1/4 mile pass to see where you spend the most amount of time. For me, I spent the most time during a 1/4 mile pass @ 4400.

It was a cam only setup in a f-body with full bolt ons.
