Mine went because it was slightly out of balance. IT started vbrating at about 90 or so. It would start getting worse at 105.

Great Times!!!....and just in time. I need help with my Nitrous Dry shot. I want to know if I can run a 75 shot (maybe 100 at MOST) on my 5.3 with my HPPIII Hypertech on the 93 tune? I plan on running some 100 GT gas from Sunoco at the time, but aren't sure if I should knock the Hypertech program out of it totally, run the 87 octane tune, or keep the 93 octane tune. I'm hoping to run a 13 anything. Sorry to jack the thread, but I know you people in the know are following this thread and I need some help. Thanks.

I've heard bad things about a shot on top of HPPIII tuning. Was it Greggo that toasted his motor doing that?

What bottle pressure were you running?
Also you ran a 15.2 N/A with the cam ?

So you knocked off 1.8 of a second with the gas. damn.

Hey Blake, you took off quite a bit of time from when I saw you Fri. at RRR. Congrats on the new time! Looks like you got all of the bugs worked out!

Your the guy with the black stepside, right? I did 3 things, dropped timing from 28 to 25, put on the smaller tires which is always good for .5 deduction on or off the bottle (245/50R16), bought some 110 unleaded oxygenated gas. I still have no clue what bottle pressure I am running, you saw my method of heating it. I have gotten it so high it won't let the solenoid open, my guage started leaking last week & never fixed it.

I strongly discourage running any type of dry shot without ls1 edit & some type of monitoring software. I spent a ton of time with my truck watching iat temps spraying it & adjusting my iat power enrichment table accordingly to obtain proper afr. The proper amount of ful is just as important as timing in eleminating detonation.

Your truck would just lift and pull like a MF'r when you hit the n20 at liek 20mph! It looked cool man and you could hear that badboy spraying over your true dual 40's no cats! We will se what the 100(for now!) wet shot does for me next week!

Congrats Blake!

Your truck was hauling ***! Get some slicks and up the shot a little and you'll be in the 12's no problem. I want to see the look on your dad's face when a 4.8 with spray beats his blown LQ9 6.0!
