I doubt its anything with the heads since they have very few miles on them.

Stewart put breathers on it and see what it does, if it stills burns oil without a PCV system then you know for sure its a problem with the shortblock.

i spin alot of RPM. 7k most of the time. i figure most of my oil is being sucked into the intake. i really was surprised with the leak down results. i figured it had atleast 1 hurting cylinder. i think some new plugs and some breathers in the pcv and oil cap will get me on the road and running 100%. can't wait to get my new exhaust in. and the suspension done.

heads only have about 15k miles on them. the leakdown would have show if it had a bad valve seal/burnt valve. everything checked out 100%. these motors are incredible.

and for all of the royal purple haters:nunchuk1:

My old 6.0 was blowing the dipstick out and I did a compression test and they were 0-75. The engine was trash.

zero is impossible...75% is horrible. are you sure that the valves were shut completely?

When I did it, I was getting ~75, when a local performance shop did it, they were getting 0. Anyway you look at it, the engine was bad, it was blowing the dipstick out and had lots of blow by coming from the oil filler.

if you gonna run breathers, you might want to check with your tuner about how the tune is setup... If you still running a MAF and trims (closed loop), basically a stock step-up tune, those breathers will allow unmetered air to come threw the intake track and cause your trims to max out, basically you would be creating a vacuum leak...

but if you just run breathers and cap off all lines going to the TB, intake, etc. you will be fine...
