Default 180 Thermostat for 2004 6.0

Does anyone sell one? All I ever see for sale is a 160 degree t-stat.

Thanks,

Cory

Hypertech makes a 180 degree thermostat for for ls1s part number H1015, but not sure if it'll fit a 6.0.

Other guys will chime in to help.

The stock 'stat (at least on the F-bodies) was about a 180F
nominal temp and produced a 194F coolant temp (if you
didn't use the stock, stupid e-fans settings). The "160" ones
actually pivot about 172F. If you buy an aftermarket 180
you will just be wasting money, there's little or no difference
to be found.

Thanks for the answer. I'll just get the 160 then and set my fans to 180. The good thing is that the t-stat for the 2004 and up truck doesn't have the housing attached like the expensive f-body LS1's did. I can get it for about $20.

Thanks again.
