Default 1985 silverado with 6.0L

I just go finished about a month ago with my 6.0L conversion on my old pick-up. It has the lq4 version with the asa racing cam, turbo 350 and edelbrock carburetor intake manifold, s&p headers 2 super 40's with true duals, 2500 stall 3.73 gears. The truck is a blast to drive, however i would like to have manual trans and possibly put fuel injection back on it.

how do you like the s&p headers for your truck?? I am doing a 5.3 swap in mine and really would like to go with headers, instead of having to redo the exhuast when i do put headers on. I would also like to see pics

How the hell did the intake manifold fit up to the heads?? The newer 6.0s heads have equally spaced apart intake ports and the older smallblocks have the two center intake ports right next to each other?

Unless of course you speak of the older 6.0 that was in some of the big caddys

I'm sorry but just doesnt sound right..........

Stroked... you gotta post pics. I'm gonna be droppin a 5.3 in my '86. Would like to know how much work you had on your hands as far as mounting. I'm told that all it takes is moving cross members for mounting motor and trans.

Enlighten the public. Thanks!!! Can't wait to get mine complete, so I can drive the heck out of it.

Um... you should check your facts, before calling BS. Look here, about 3/4 the way down the page.

^^^I was fixing to say the same thing; I knew Edelbrock came out with that manifold a while back. How's it run Stroked? You definitely need to put up some pics; it sounds like an awesome setup. I want to hear that 110 lsa cam too
