Default 1997 exhaust work

Did some exhaust work on the 97. It has a 4.3 so it needed some help. The previous owner had some crap on there. It was a y pipe off the manifolds into a 3" pipe, into a glasspack that was just shoved into the 3" pipe and bogger welded, then out to a 2" pipe. The 3" pipe was actually welded to the body of the glasspack, so the inlet and a reducer was sticking into the pipe.I will have to get pics of this crap that was on there. I cut all that off. Its now offroad y pipe into 3" pipe, single in dual out Ravin 77 series muffler into another y pipe that goes into a single 3" out the factory location with a 4" tip. I was going to use a magnaflow, but I put it on and it was too deep. It sounds pretty good, no drone, not too loud, and it runs so much better without all that restriction.I couldnt believe how it woke up that little motor. I am still searching for a vortec 350 to swap in but I saw two 5.3s on craigslist today, one for 500 and one for 450.
