Default 1998 Chevrolet Express van shock replacement question

I am not exactly Tim the Toolman so I need a little help. I need to swap out two shocks in front of a 1998 Chevrolet Express 2500 van and possibly the rears.

Now in the front, is everything the same as my Camaro SS? I have swapped those out before any they were fairly easy. I looked at the setup with the wheel on the van and spring sits on top of the shock, like the Camaro setup.

On my Camaro the bottom of the shock is held onto the lower control arm but two nuts/bolts. Is it the same with the van or do I have to seat the spring on the lower control arm (which is a major pain).

Wondering if this is something I can do or if it's going to be a hassle and I'll end up wasting a day putting everything back together to bring it to the dealer. I do know how to swap front/rear shocks in the f-bodies.

actually is easyer than you f- just 2 bolt under the lower a arm and the nut on top, but sometimes (depend on the new shock) you'll have to lower the van to make the top go thru
