2 Stall questions please.
1. I've seen it asked and i have asked it myself but always seen mixed answers..
Fbody convertors fit the trucks?
2. what would be a good stall speed for a basic bolt on/stock 5.3?

1. Yes, as long as its an 98-up LS1 f-body. I have the SF3000 in mine, which was originally intended for the f-bods. No install probs.
2. I vote for a stall around 3000. I think that the 2600's are just too much like stock and not worth the hassle. Plus 3000 is a good stall you can grow with if you decide to get a cam or something. JMO.

Im running the SF3000 in mine too and it works great.. Id say a 3000 too.. My truck is stock exept for a tune and it really made a difference.. cant wait to get the 4.10's in.. spinning one tire sucks

It will take you a little bit to get used to... It took me about 2 minutes to get used to mine.. Last night i drove my friends brand new 05 extended cab and it didnt feel right... It felt like a dog.. My truck runs so much better with the stall in..
