Default 2000 350 vortec random cylinder misfire

truck was having trouble starting from time to time. I then replaced distibutor with a used one. Problem solved, exept now i have a SES light, and OBD2 code says random cylinder misfire. Truck seems to be running fine, except its getting horrible fuel mileage. i have replaced cap, plugs, wires, rotor, spider injection system and injectors (about 5k miles ago). I'm lost lol. Anyone have any insight?? Thanks.

Hook up a tech 2 scanner and check the cam timing. It should be 0 plus or minus 2 , it can be off and not throw a code
