Default 2000 Silverado 5.3 questions

I respect Chevys, and in fact I realy do like them.. so for my username dont give me chit.

I got a friend with a 5.3 single cab.. silverado shortbed? I dont know what you guys call it.. but I can say its definetely fast....

for a truck it realy realy gets down.. keeps up with my car and has beat a few of my friends cars...

it has true duals and a K&N FIPK ? I think..

what are some times for a car equipped with mods? and what do they run stock? what is the flywheel horsepower as well as what they make to the wheels...?

lastly.. hes lookin for more, I directed him into buy some longtubes for it.. and maybe a cam swap and some milling on the heads..

I dont know much about chevys though, whats the stock compression ratio?

sry guys alot of questions

I have a 2000 Silverado 5.3. Stock with a K&N filter, catback exhaust, and 2500 stall. I was making 250hp at the wheel. With a little math work we figured 313hp at the crank. Then I put on an STS Turbo kit and I am making around 350hp at the wheel and a little over 400 at the crank. Thats based on the 1/4 mile times I am getting. When I put it on the dyno again I'll post it. With a few good bolt ons and a tune ( not including the Turbo) These trucks can run high 13's to low 14's in the 1/4.
