Default 2003 silverado

Is it true that the 20" rims wear front end parts than the stock tires? Do the front ends differ from 2001 to 2003 models? Do they all have rack and pinions?

Wear front end parts.... not really I think the larger problem is with tire wear. Once you go away from 16" wheels that were designed for the suspension you loose the engineered steering axis inclination and included angles (not a big deal). But with a big wheel set up i'd just put camber and toe on 0* and your pretty safe.
