Default 2003 v8 swap harness?

i have found a 2003 v6/auto truck im think im gonna try and buy it, anyway from what i understand the 99-02 harness is different from the 03+?...and the 03+ uses DBW which i would like to get away from, id prefer a cable setup. if the harnesses are different am i able to modify the 99-02 harness to fit in the 03?

i already have a complete 4.8 and PCM, all i would really need to buy is a tranny, harness and the little things in the big v6 to v8 swap thread on here

go to www.wait4meperformance.com and get the phone number for Jesse, he can tell you what will and will not work for modifying a harness. Depending on what trans your using will let you know what harness and computer you need. I am putting a 6.0L into an older monte carlo ss, so I pulled the wiring harness and computer off a 5.3 in the same era (pre 03). If you ask him, I believe he'll tell you that it can be done, the computer just needs to be redone to read the cable driven instead of DBW.
