You are correct, and that's what my engine is. I'm just wondering based on Trever's reply above whether he would have suggested a different course of action for LM7 v. L59 engines.

"trever1t" I was looking at your page on cardomain.com and i see you have a 5.3L L33 HO and mine is a 5.3 LM7 as you said. Whats the difference is your and mine and why are they different cause i thought there were only 2 different 5.3's in that truck

L33 is a aluminum block and adds 15hp over the LM7.

tune, headers, intake, 220/220 cam, 4.10s, 3200 converter... the list goes on and on, search around these forums and you'll find everything you need to know and some.

5.3 HO=Aluminum block, flat top pistons, cathedral port heads(same castings as 405 horse Z06) little bigger cam, 9.9:1 compression
