Default 2005 Silverado 4.8l Injector question

Anyone know what style injectors this vehicle uses? Is it the LS1 style or LS2 for this year? Im pretty sure 2004 uses LS1 style right? I'm not sure if 2005 uses LS2 style yet?

Any links to injectors?

thanks

So the racetronix 42's would be fine? The Lucas brand?

negative, that is a bosch style connector. I would get the 8.1L Marine GM Delphi Injectors.

If you are looking for a direct drop in, and bolt in the 42 pound 8.1L Marine injectors from GM are your best bet. You will need tuning either way.

The shorties will not be easy, as they are shorter than the stock injectors.

Here is a reply straight from racetronix in response to my question about the specific truck:
These are the only injectors that are a direct fit:

That Multec 2 from Racetronics is the GM 8.1 marine injector. If you need an injector that big it's the one you want.

my bad, you are on the right track with those.....I read "shorty" and ASSumed that they were shorter than the stock ones. You are good to go with those.
