We have just received word that Magnuson now has their intercooled supercharger available for the 2007 GM trucks powered by the 5.3 motor (engine code J). This kit is 49 state legal. They are still waiting on carb numbers for California.

Our introductory pricing is lower than we are allowed to advertise. You'll have to give us a call to receive a quote for this.

The 5.3 TrailBlazer kit would be different. They currently only have one for the 6.0 TrailBlazer SS.

Well, it looks like Magnuson has jumped the gun with a release. We received the following info a couple of weeks ago -

But now... they say that the kits are still a few weeks out. Probably sometime in September. For the orders that are coming in, none of them will be charged until the kits are ready. I guess we'll call it really ready.

Does the new Magnuson offering for the 2007 5.3 J disable the DoD (Displacement on Demand)? And is the E85 FlexFuel option still usable?

The tuning will disable the DOD. I'll check into the E85 fuel.
