2007 5.3 Reluctor ring questoins.
Hey guys.
I scored a Complete 5.3 out of a 2007 Suburban with 7000miles for the cheap.
What exactly would i need to "Convert" this engine to work with a 2002 PCM?
Wanting to use it to put in a 92 240SX with a 4L60E.
i can get the Reluctor ring off my old 2000 5.3. But I cant find any info of what im goin to need...
Im goin to put a LS1 Intake on it for clearance, and it has the new water pump that looks like it will clear the TB.. Not worried about power cause its goin in the 240. and i figured a LS1 intake can be had for cheaper than the LS1s.
Also goin to need the LS1 accessory brackets.
The 240 has 4.08 Gears in it from the Factory.. And im thinking about using a Stock TC, Trailblazer TC or my Yank TT3000...
Basically i want it to get some pretty good gas mileage. Heard of LS1/T56 combos gettin 34-36mpg... i figure i could get 30 out of it after i get to tuning?
