Default 2007 catalyic converters

I have a 2007 new bodstyle silverado can I take the cats off an it run good if not better?? I was also told these newer trucks don't run good without them? I fixin to put longtube headers on an needed to know if I need to put the cats back on or not. Thanks

just run an ORY pipe and get the cats tuned out.. alot of guys do it, but it will make your exhaust tone alot louder, and give u that exhaust smell that some people complain about.

OR they say its running rich after they removed the CCs...

Guess they dont really know what the Converters are on there for.

Do like said above and you will be good.
